A petition has been filed in the Delhi High Court to challenge the election of AAP leader and ex-chief minister Atishi, alleging there were corrupt practices in the 2025 Delhi assembly polls.
The matter is to be heard on Wednesday by Justice Jyoti Singh.
Petitioners Kamaljit Singh Duggal and Ayush Rana claim that Atishi and her election campaign team were involved in corrupt practices during the election process.
The petition, filed by lawyer T Singhdev, seeks the election results to be invalidated.
Atishi won her seat from Kalkaji by defeating her BJP rival Ramesh Bidhuri by 3,521 votes. The petitioners are locals of the Kalkaji constituency.
There were balloting on February 5 and the results were announced on February 8.
