Dr. Sana Tariq, the Vice President at Metro Hospital Faridabad, brings over one decade of rich experience in healthcare management and clinical research. In an exclusive interview with Rameez Makhdoomi, she talks to Jazzbaat24 News Network.

A bit about the vision of Metro Group of Hospitals?

We at Metro Group of Hospitals believe in providing the best healthcare facilities to the people needing them. We own 12 hospitals in India and two globally - one in Oman and another in Cambodia. We have the best state-of-the-art technology to cater to diverse health needs of patients, and they can get the best results from our hospitals. The facility at Faridabad is world-class. The city has great roads and infrastructure. The flight from Kashmir is just one hour, and people can use the best healthcare facilities of the world at our setup. The climate is also decent. Under one roof, you would get all the healthcare facilities.

What about OPDs in Kashmir?

We will be providing OPD at LA Fe Medical Center HMT Srinagar on the last Sunday of every month. We will be catering to diverse healthcare needs of people of Kashmir through world-class doctors from different specialties so that people in Kashmir also take full benefits of our world-class healthcare facilities and expertise.

You have yourself also spoken on the need to provide quality healthcare at affordable prices. What would you like to say to people of Kashmir in this regard?

Yes, this is a genuine worry. People in Kashmir or any other part of the country, when diagnosed with any disease, rather than looking for effective treatment, look first at how much treatment would cost. We at Metro Group of Hospitals assure people of Kashmir that at affordable prices and on a budget-friendly basis, we provide treatment. And one of our hospitals, RLKC at Patel Nagar, caters to a significant chunk of economically weaker sections.

The number of Private Hospitals face allegations of ignoring Golden cards issued by the Government when treating patients?

We at Metro recently treated three patients from Kashmir on Golden cards, and they will share their pleasant experience soon. We don't believe in saying one thing and doing another. We at Metro Group of Hospitals, as per rules, fully honour the Golden cards issued by the Government.

Your message as an important leader of Metro Group of Hospitals?

I would like to make it amply clear that we would provide world-class healthcare facilities, and I am again stressing at a very pocket-friendly budget. We have fully advanced technological infrastructure, be it in the form of Robotics or radiation machines, and all are being put to best use for the welfare of patients.
