Gulmarg Jan 28: Fresh snowfall in Gulmarg, combined with the smooth and efficient functioning of the iconic Gondola cable car, has emerged as a major catalyst for a noticeable rise in tourist footfall at the world-famous ski resort.
Tourists from various parts of the country were seen arriving in large numbers to enjoy the pristine snow and breathtaking winter landscapes. The Gondola ride continued to remain the prime attraction, drawing visitors keen on experiencing snow adventures and panoramic views of the snow-clad Pir Panjal mountains.
Long queues were witnessed outside the Gondola terminals, clearly reflecting the increased influx of visitors. To manage the rush efficiently, the concerned department and Gondola management put special arrangements in place, ensuring smooth ticketing, boarding, and overall crowd management, particularly during peak hours.
Tourists expressed high satisfaction over the arrangements. One visitor said that the fresh snowfall had transformed Gulmarg into a beautiful white paradise. “The Gondola ride was smooth and offered stunning views of snow-covered mountains. It was truly an unforgettable experience,” he remarked.
