A woman was killed and four others sustained injuries in a hit-and-run incident in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar, police said on Sunday.
According to officials, the accident occurred when a speeding vehicle allegedly rammed into pedestrians before fleeing the scene. The impact left the woman critically injured; she was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed during treatment. The four injured victims are currently undergoing medical care, and their condition is reported to be stable.
