What began as a routine technology showcase quickly turned into an unforgettable moment when the robot perfectly synced its moves to the energetic Arabic rap track from the Ranveer Singh-starrer film Dhurandhar.
The song, performed by Bahrain-based rapper Flipperachi, has already gained massive popularity online, but seeing a humanoid robot groove to its beats took the trend to a whole new level. As the robot swayed, stepped, and matched the rhythm with impressive precision, hundreds of students and attendees rushed to record the performance on their phones.
According to information shared on Instagram, the robot was developed by Bidyut Innovation. The performance was designed to demonstrate major advancements in humanoid robotics, particularly in balance control, motion planning, and real-time responsiveness—three of the most challenging aspects of robot design.
Clips of the performance soon went viral, drawing a flood of humorous and amazed reactions online. One user joked, “Finally! Akshaye Khanna has competition,” referencing the actor’s viral presence in the song. Another quipped, “Day one as a spy among humans.” Some comments blended humour with reflection, noting how robots now perform while humans simply record.
