Mohali : At today’s Indian School of Business (ISB) Graduation Ceremony, 252 Students from the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) Class of 2025 at the Mohali campus received their certificates and accolades, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in their professional journeys. The milestone event was graced by Chief Guest Aakash Chaudhry, Co-founder of Aakash, Educational Services Limited (AESL).
Addressing the graduates, Chief Guest and ISB alumnus Aakash Chaudhry, recalled how assuming success would come from emulating a familiar path taught him the value of real, everyday commitment—solving even the smallest challenges and maintaining balance through health and genuine relationships. Chaudhry expressed heartfelt gratitude for being back at his alma mater, humbly noting that his presence at the graduation ceremony was a testament to ISB's visionary spirit. He urged the graduates to think boldly, break down silos, and build a legacy measured not by accolades, but by the impact they create and the persistence they show every day.
Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Chairperson, ISB Mohali Campus Advisory Board, remarked that our era's true excitement lies in navigating global uncertainties—from conflicts and economic shifts to the challenges of modern trade. He noted that such obstacles offer a stage for real leadership, as his experience at Bharti Airtel showed that adversity forges the strongest leaders. Mittal emphasised that effective leadership involves not only staying at the forefront, but also empowering one’s team. He encouraged graduates to honour the ISB spirit by mentoring future batches and remaining connected to the campus, believing a bright mind paired with a compassionate heart is the ultimate competitive advantage.
Professor Madan Pillutla, Dean, ISB, noted that graduates are stepping into an uncertain yet fascinating world. He explained that rapid change is challenging long-held assumptions, as traditional models of trade, leadership, and business evolve amid geopolitical uncertainties and ideological divides. He highlighted that the ISB experience has equipped the Class of 2025 with the critical thinking skills necessary to navigate these complexities. Pillutla urged them to embrace diverse perspectives and champion gender parity in leadership, emphasizing the value of collective progress toward future success.
Indraneel Choudhuri, Apurv Ashutosh Sharma, and Harsh Vinod Behrani were announced as ISB Scholar(s) of Excellence for the Mohali Campus. Uday Agrawal was announced the Chairperson’s Award for the Best All-Rounder for the PGP Class of 2025 (Mohali Campus). Faculty members and academic associates were also applauded for their vital contributions in shaping and enriching the students' learning journeys. The ceremony culminated in a joyful hat toss by the graduates, symbolising the start of their next exciting chapter.
Last week, at the graduation ceremony held at the Hyderabad campus of ISB, 563 students from the PGP Class of 2025 (Hyderabad campus) received their certificates and accolades.
