MUMBAI: IndiGo on Tuesday said its operations have stabilised after days of disruption, with the airline addressing customer needs following widespread flight cancellations and delays.
In a video message, CEO Peter Elbers stated that lakhs of passengers affected by the cancellations or delays have already received full refunds. He added that the refund process continues on a daily basis.
Elbers did not provide details on compensation for customers whose flights were cancelled at short notice or experienced significant delays.
The airline has faced an operational crisis over the past week, grounding hundreds of flights across major metro airports and affecting thousands of passengers. With operations now reportedly back on track, IndiGo said it is focusing on ensuring smooth services and preventing further disruption.
