The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the objection window for the JEE Main 2026 answer key will close today, February 6, 2026. Candidates who appeared for Paper I of the exam can raise objections against the provisional answer key through the official NTA JEE website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The online link will be deactivated at 11:50 pm today.
The objection window was opened on February 4, giving candidates a short time to review the answer key and submit challenges. Those wishing to raise objections must log in using their credentials, review the answers, and submit their challenges along with supporting documents. A processing fee must be paid via debit/credit card or net banking. Once submitted, candidates will receive a confirmation page, which should be saved for future reference.
If any objections are found valid by the experts, the answer key will be revised and applied to the responses of all candidates accordingly. The final answer keys, once finalized, will determine the preparation of results. The NTA has clarified that candidates will not be individually informed about the acceptance or rejection of their objections.
Students are advised to act quickly, as the deadline is strict. The JEE Main exam is a critical step for admission into top engineering institutions across India, including the IITs and NITs.
For detailed instructions on submitting objections, candidates can visit the official NTA website.
