Jimmy Tatro is to appear together with Will Ferrell, Zac Efron, and Regina Hall in Amazon MGM Studios' upcoming untitled comedy movie.
The film will be directed by Nicholas Stoller and reunite Tatro and the production crew of "You're Cordially Invited," which was launched recently on Prime Video. This new project solidifies Tatro's increasing exposure in Hollywood further.
The movie's plot follows a young prisoner, acted by Efron, who kidnaps a reality TV courtroom, holding it hostage, and accuses the showy TV judge, acted by Ferrell, of making a ruling in the past that destroyed his life.
The setup guarantees a combination of comedy and social satire typical of Stoller's previous films.
Jimmy Tatro, initially catapulted to stardom by his YouTube channel LifeAccordingToJimmy, broke into mainstream film with appearances in such films as 22 Jump Street and the hit Netflix series American Vandal. With his range as a performer, he has been praised for intertwining comedy with subtlety.
With filming in progress, excitement is building for this A-list comedy that promises to bring quick wit and compelling storytelling.
Fans are on the lookout for news on what is shaping up to be a thrilling addition to Tatro's increasing roster of credits.
