The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on January 14 announced the results of the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations for the 2025 winter zone session. Students who appeared in the exams can check and download their scorecards from the official websites jkbose.nic.in and jkresults.nic.in.
According to the board, 84.04 per cent of Class 10 students successfully cleared the examination. A total of 94,845 students appeared, including 47,736 boys and 47,109 girls. Among them, 85.03 per cent students passed, with girls outperforming boys once again. As many as 40,408 girls (85.78 per cent) qualified the exam, compared to 40,242 boys (84.30 per cent).
In terms of grades, 16,550 students secured A1 grade, while 14,398 students achieved A2, reflecting a strong overall academic performance across the Union Territory.
The Class 12 results have also been released and are available on the official result portals. Students from science, commerce, arts, and vocational streams who appeared in the exams can now access their results online.
The winter zone examinations for Class 10 were conducted from November 3 to November 27, 2025, while Class 12 exams were held between November 8 and December 3, 2025.
To check their results, students need to visit the official website, select the relevant result link, enter their roll number and registration details, and submit the verification code displayed on the screen. Online marks statements can be downloaded for immediate use, though original mark sheets will be issued by schools later.
Meanwhile, JKBOSE has also announced the 2026 board exam schedule for the Jammu Division summer zone, with Class 10 exams beginning on February 17 and Class 12 exams starting from February 23, 2026.
