Sources say that on December 13, Shah Rukh Khan may join Lionel Messi at the Salt Lake Stadium (Yuva Bharati Krirangan). Initial discussions with the Bollywood superstar have already taken place, and he has reportedly given his consent. With this, football and Bollywood are coming together for Messi’s much-awaited “GOAT Concert.”
Messi will be in India from December 13 to 15, beginning his trip in Kolkata before heading to Mumbai and New Delhi. Although the concert was initially planned at Eden Gardens, it will now be held at Yuva Bharati Krirangan, one of Asia’s finest football stadiums. Messi will then visit Lake Town to unveil his statue, followed by another event. He is also scheduled to meet West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
According to reports, Messi and Shah Rukh Khan may even take a lap of the stadium in an open-top vehicle. However, it’s still unknown whether the two superstars will have a direct conversation.
If Shah Rukh does appear on stage, he has reportedly set a condition no other Bollywood star should be invited to the event. Organizers are likely to agree to this.
After Kolkata, Messi will travel to Hyderabad and then Mumbai. On December 14, he will attend an event at Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Messi will also be a spectator at the Padel GOAT Cup, where he will meet several sports and Bollywood celebrities.
Later, the Argentine legend is also expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
