Munich to Host 2028 Champions League Final; Wembley and Camp Nou Eye 2029

UEFA has officially confirmed that Munich’s Allianz Arena will host the 2028 UEFA Champions League Final, making it the sole bidder for the prestigious event. The iconic home of Bayern Munich will welcome the final once again after 2012, marking a grand return of European football’s biggest night to Germany.

For the 2029 edition, the competition is between Wembley Stadium in London and Camp Nou in Barcelona, which is currently undergoing a massive renovation to become one of Europe’s most advanced stadiums.

UEFA clarified that these bids are still non-binding, with final proposals due by June 10, 2026, and the official decision to be announced in September of that year.

Football fans are already thrilled  Munich will shine in 2028, while all eyes are on whether London or Barcelona will host the 2029 final.
