Nandika Debunks Rumours Amid Smriti–Palash Wedding Row

The wedding of Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal has been put on hold, and questions remain about whether it will happen at all. Palash has been accused of cheating after reportedly being spotted in an intimate moment with a choreographer just a day before the wedding. Amid rumours linking her name to the controversy, choreographer Nandika Dwivedi has finally spoken out.

Nandika, well-known in Bollywood and often seen as a dance partner to several actresses, works closely with the famous Bosco Caesar duo. She, along with Gulnaaz, had been assigned choreography duties for Smriti’s wedding. After her name got dragged into the “Palriti” wedding controversy, Nandika switched her Instagram account to private.

In a long Instagram story, she wrote:
“For the past few days, I’ve been dragged into speculation about something extremely personal to others. People are saying I ruined someone’s relationship. I want to make it absolutely clear—this allegation is completely false. It’s painful to see my name linked to stories I’m not involved in. What’s worse is that these baseless claims are being spread without any truth, and such news can destroy anyone’s reputation.”

She added, “Please understand how difficult it is for me to deal with this. I can’t keep being blamed for something I didn’t do. It hurts to see my loved ones affected by these false reports. My mental health has been suffering. I’m receiving threats. Seeing my family worried is why I made my account private. I request everyone to stop spreading such rumours. I’ve sacrificed a lot to come to Mumbai please don’t drag me into this. I believe the real truth will come out one day.”

Meanwhile, fellow choreographer Gulnaaz also clarified: “A lot of fake news is being spread about me and my friend Nandika. Let me be clear we have no role in this incident. Just because we have a picture with someone doesn’t mean we’re involved in their personal life. So don’t jump to conclusions.”
