New Delhi: The 9th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC), Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s interactive programme addressing exam stress, will be held in January 2026. Students, parents, and teachers from India and abroad will have the opportunity to engage with the Prime Minister and discuss examinations as an important and celebratory part of life.

Registrations for the programme are open on the MyGov portal until 11 January 2026. Participants are selected through an online MCQ-based competition running from 1 December 2025 to 11 January 2026. Students from Classes 6 to 12, along with teachers and parents, can participate, and all registered participants completing the activity will receive a certificate from MyGov.

The 8th edition of PPC, held on 10 February 2025 at Sunder Nursery in New Delhi, featured 36 students representing every state and union territory, including government schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Sainik Schools, Navodaya Vidyalayas, and Eklavya Model Residential Schools. PRERANA alumni and winners of Kala Utsav and Veer Gatha also participated. The event included seven themed episodes covering topics such as sports and discipline, mental health, nutrition, technology and finance, and creativity and positivity.

PPC has witnessed remarkable growth, from 22,000 participants in 2018 to 3.56 crore registrations in 2025. The 8th edition also set a Guinness World Record, drawing students from over 245 countries, teachers from 153 countries, and parents from 149 countries. Nationwide Jan Andolan activities added another 1.55 crore participants, bringing total involvement to nearly five crore.
