Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended best wishes to the nation on the Chaitra Navratri, Nav Samvatsar (Hindu New Year), and Ugadi festivities on March 30, 2025. In a string of X (previously Twitter) posts, he extended best wishes with an emphasis placed on a set of words that included courage, strength, and prosperity.

For Navratri, Modi wrote, "Best wishes to the countrymen on Navratri. May this holy celebration of Shakti-sadhana infuse all lives with strength, control, and fearlessness. Jai Mata Di." Modi spoke of the spiritual significance of the festival as one of worship and renewal.

On Hindu New Year (Nav Samvatsar), he wished new beginnings, saying, "May this holy day infuse fresh spirit in every life and confer fresh vigour in the enthusiasm for a developed India."

He also extended warm wishes for Ugadi, which is the Karnataka, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh New Year.

Modi called it "a lively festival associated with hope and new beginnings" and wished happiness, prosperity, and harmony of life for people.

These messages are reflective of Modi's efforts towards Indian cultural festivals consolidation while spreading optimism and shared advancement.
