Actor Priyanka Chopra recently reflected on her journey from Bollywood to Hollywood, revealing that she never intended to leave Indian cinema but was “pushed” to explore opportunities abroad. In a candid interview, she said she felt limited while working in Hindi films and wanted to expand her creative horizons.
Priyanka explained that after launching her music career in 2012, she ventured into Hollywood, making her acting debut as the lead in the TV series Quantico. She later appeared in films like Baywatch and The Matrix Resurrections. Today, she headlines major international projects, including Citadel, Heads of State, and the upcoming The Bluff, a pirate adventure co-starring Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Safia Oakley-Green, and Temuera Morrison, set to release on Amazon Prime Video on February 25.
Despite her global success, Priyanka emphasized her love for Indian cinema. She will return to Bollywood with Varanasi, directed by S. S.
