Punjabi Singer-Actor Rajvir Jawanda Passes Away at 35 After Tragic Road Accident

Popular Punjabi singer and actor Rajvir Jawanda is no more. The 35 year old artist passed away after battling for 11 days following a horrific road accident. His sudden death has cast a deep shadow of grief over the Punjabi music and film industry, leaving fans and colleagues heartbroken.

The accident occurred in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, when Rajvir was riding a motorcycle with a friend on September 27. According to reports, he lost control of the bike at a sharp turn and suffered severe head and spinal injuries. Locals rushed him to a nearby hospital, from where he was later shifted to Fortis Hospital, Mohali, due to his critical condition. Despite doctors’ best efforts and 11 days of intensive care, Rajvir succumbed to his injuries on October 8.

As the news of his death spread, social media flooded with tributes from fans, fellow singers, and actors. Many remembered him as a humble, cheerful, and inspiring personality. One of his colleagues wrote, “He was more than just a singer  he was an emotion for millions.”

A heart-wrenching detail has also emerged on the morning of the accident, Rajvir’s wife reportedly asked him not to go out on his bike. He reassured her, saying, “It’ll be fine, I’ll be careful.” That short exchange has now become a painful memory for his family and fans.

Adding to the sorrow, Rajvir’s last Instagram post, made just days before the accident, read: “No one will understand.” The haunting caption has since gone viral, with many saying it feels eerily prophetic.

Rajvir Jawanda was known for his powerful voice and songs that celebrated Punjabi pride, love, and rural life. Some of his most popular tracks include Sardaari, Kangani, Do Ni Sajna, Mera Dil, and Patiala Shahi. His music videos often featured themes of valor, emotion, and traditional Punjabi culture, which resonated deeply with his audience.

Beyond singing, Rajvir had also made his mark as an actor in Punjabi cinema, earning praise for his natural performances and charismatic screen presence.

He wasn’t just an artist  he was an inspiration for countless youngsters who dreamed of making it big through hard work and talent. Colleagues described him as kind, down to earth, and always ready to help others.

Rajvir once said in an interview, “Music isn’t just fame  it’s the freedom of the soul.” His voice, smile, and passion may have fallen silent, but his songs will continue to echo in the hearts of millions.
