Gopal Sil, 24 Parganas, West Bengal. Ecopark, one of the most popular open green spaces in the state, is spread over 480 acres, and a two-day awareness program “Run for Safe Food 2026” was held there.
This initiative aims to increase awareness about consuming safe and organic food, instill healthy eating habits in families and communities, and promote sustainable agriculture and ethical food systems.
Organized under the management of “Mukti” and with the support of “Sustainability Expo”, women and men from various self-help groups participated in this program. The marathon race was held over 25 km in various events under the supervision of brand ambassador and eminent actress Rituparna Sengupta. Besides, organic farmers, corporate representatives, the young generation and the common people.
