The AR Murugadoss directorial raked in around ₹4.50 crore on its second Sunday and took its net collection in India to ₹102.25 crore. Globally, Sikandar has raked in ₹161.5 crore, with ₹45.35 crore being from foreign markets.
Even with this landmark, the movie's performance has been disappointing vis-a-vis other Salman Khan productions.
The runs for Sikandar have decreased by nearly half since its launch, indicating sharp loss of public interest. Its opening was less than enthusiastic with ₹26 crore on the opening day, less than anticipated at a Salman Khan Eid release.
The box office path of Sikandar has been one of consistent decline in daily collections, with the movie failing to gain traction after its first week. The second weekend was one of minimal growth, with occupancy levels still low at about 11-12%.
