The announcement video showcases Shah Rukh Khan in a fierce, larger-than-life avatar, packed with intense action visuals and dramatic one-liners. The teaser quickly went viral, sparking excitement among fans and celebrities alike. One of the most talked-about reactions came from Shah Rukh’s son, Aryan Khan, who shared the teaser on his Instagram Stories with a single-word caption: “Baap” — a slang term in Hindi meaning “father,” often used to express dominance or admiration.
Suhana Khan, who will be seen alongside her father in King, also shared the teaser on social media. The film marks an important milestone in her career, as it will be her second film after The Archies. Several industry insiders and celebrity friends, including Orry, Shanaya Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, and Navya Naveli Nanda, reacted with heart emojis and supportive comments.
Filmmaker Karan Johar also joined in the celebration, calling the teaser a moment that “broke the internet.” Sharing the video on his Instagram Stories, he wrote, “OMGGGGG! The internet just broke! Bhaiii you have killed it!” Johar has previously directed Shah Rukh Khan in iconic films such as Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, and My Name Is Khan.
Apart from Shah Rukh and Suhana Khan, King boasts an ensemble cast including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, and Anil Kapoor. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, the film is expected to be a major box office draw during the festive season.
With its Christmas release and star-studded lineup, King is shaping up to be one of the most awaited Bollywood action spectacles of 2026.
