From daybreak abound with more than a few warm and peaceful colors, strong sights where color pastes drench each other on people while fun and goodwill songs continue to flow. This festival has special cultural and religious importance to people, marking spring's coming and good conquering evil. Barriers hardly matter anymore, as all acts with love and happy tears of mince are melted synchronously.
There usually are some minds behind the festival: Holika Dahan—a ceremony that pays respect to symbolizing spark generations against evil; and, the real fancy!! Rangwali Holi—an utterly colored and water balloon splashed celebration, taking divisive shapes with gujiya and thandai.
Different regions observance distinctly offer unique festivities. In Mathura and Vrindavan, the festival is marked with high regard, symbolizing the iconic play of Lord Krishna with the colors. Hola Mohalla bears portends of Punjab. In this lovely state, people celebrate with martial arts displays. In West Bengal, Dol Jatra adds some extra traditional shot with vigors of songs and traditional dance on the tunes of the sacred figure of Krishna.
This time around, the celebration gains more importance, though people would set out celebrating Holi perhaps after ages of ban-termed 'the modern pandemic'. Many communities have organized bonfires, large gatherings, entertainment programs, and a musical evening to light up that special occasion's spirit.
It is that time of year again, filled with grins, music, colors, and crazy cartoonish funny pranks. Holi is proving to be another joyous occasion that brings people closer and infests joy and positivity in the body concerned.
