UK national dies and another rescued in Dhauladhar mountain trekking accident

During an uncertain weather in Himachal Pradesh's Dhauladhar Mountains, one British national died and another trekked to safety.   The accident happened on February 18, when the experienced trekkers encountered extreme bare weather along the rough trail, which made it difficult for them to season Sab de Guerra. 

According to local officials, the trekkers were on a high-altitude trail near Triund and Indrahar Pass, a popular destination among adventure enthusiasts but heavy snowfall and poor visibility diverted them from their tracks.   A 56-year-old died of extreme cold and exhaustion before help arrived.  Send another SOS call.   Police, forest department and mountain experts rushed to the spot to help rescue efforts. 

After hours of effort, the rescue team found the stranded trekker and brought him to safety.   He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.   The British High Commission in India was informed of the incident;   Arrangements have been made to bring the body of the deceased trekker back to the country. 

Officials in this unpredictable terrain have issued a warning to trekkers: always make sure they check the weather before setting out.  They should carry suitable survival equipment with them and inform the authorities before going to such remote areas.
