Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday remembered Rajput King Rana Sanga on his birthday anniversary.
In an X post, CM Yogi recalled Rana Sanga's patriotism, bravery, and unflinching commitment towards defending "dharma."
"Deepest greetings on the birth anniversary of the great warrior Rana Sanga, who was dedicated to safeguarding dharma! His tale of patriotism and sacrifice is a golden page in history. His bravery will inspire and bring pride to the nation of Bharat for centuries to come," CM Yogi Adityanath stated.

Ramji Lal Suman ignited controversy by his remark on Rana Sanga, a 16th-century Rajput ruler, labelling him a "traitor" for having supposedly brought Babur, the founder of the Mughal empire, to defeat Ibrahim Lodi.
Violence broke out outside the house of SP MP Suman in Agra on March 26. Unknown people turned to stone pelting, shattering window panes and damaging cars parked outside.
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav claimed that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who was also in the district at the time of the attack, gave permission for this attack.
"The incident involving Ramji Lal Suman is tragic and must be condemned. It is a national conspiracy," Dalit MP and has plenty of experience and his residence was attacked when the Chief Minister himself was in the district. This attack took place with the permission of the UP Chief Minister," Akhilesh Yadav said.
Rana Sanga, or Sangram Singh I, ruled Mewar from 1508 to 1528 and is respected for his valour and sacrifices. Suman's comment has been heavily criticized, with most demanding an apology and his action against him.
Earlier on March 28, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Lucknow members organized a protest against Suman's comment on Rajput king Rana Sanga.
