Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani did seva at ISKCON camp at Sangam during Maha Kumbh. Adani Group in collaboration with ISKCON is providing free meals under Mahaprasad Seva for the entire duration of the event from January 13 to February 26.

“I am very, very excited for the Mahakumbh.” Calling the Kumbh a sacred hub of devotion and service, he added, “It is my good fortune that we are starting the Mahaprasad Seva for the devotees in collaboration with ISKCON,” Adani said.

Mahaprasad Seva will serve 50 lakh devotees with meals prepared at 2 large kitchens and distributed at 40 locations across the mela area. Mahaprasad Seva will feed 1 lakh devotees daily.

2,500 volunteers, golf carts for differently-abled devotees and mothers with children, and 5 lakh copies of Geeta Saar will be distributed.

Adani met Guru Prasad Swami, Chairman of the ISKCON Governing Body Commission to discuss the initiative.

Thanking ISKCON for the partnership, Adani said, “With the blessings of Maa Annapurna, free food will be provided to lakhs of devotees. Seva is the highest form of patriotism, meditation, and prayer. In the true sense, seva is God.”

Guru Prasad Swamiji praised Adani’s humility and social service. "The Adani Group has always been a shining example of corporate responsibility. Gautam Adani’s work inspires us to unite in the service of humanity," he said quoting ancient texts which say we have to serve others with our wealth, energy, and efforts.

Apart from the Mahaprasad initiative, Adani Group is also distributing 1 crore aarti collections with Geeta Press. During his visit, Adani did Bhandara Seva at ISKCON Pandal, worshipped at Triveni Sangam, and visited Bade Hanuman Mandir.

Maha Kumbh is one of the largest spiritual gatherings in the world. Adani’s involvement shows the increasing trend of corporate social service and ISKCON is making it bigger and better.
