Before the presentation of FY 2025-26 Budget, President Droupadi Murmu will start the Budget session of the Parliament today (January 31, 2025) with an address to both Houses.
Then Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Economic Survey 2024-25 in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
The Budget Session will be held from January 31 to April 4 in two parts. First part will end on February 13 and second part will start on March 10.
"Ours is a young nation, and today 20-25-year-olds will be the greatest beneficiaries of Viksit Bharat by the time they will be 50 years old...They will be at the helm of policymaking... The efforts to fulfil our vision of Viksit Bharat will be a huge gift for our young generation," PM Modi said.
