The Indian Armed Forces, in a strategic and bold gesture, have initiated Operation Sindoor, striking terrorist camps and infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) across the border. The operation is being viewed as a strong reaction to latest terror strikes on Indian territory.

As per defense officials, several precision attacks were launched late at night targeting terror launch pads and militant safe houses. These sites had been placed under strict observation and had been established as active centers of terror.

The attacks were strategized and conducted with synchronization between the Army, Air Force, and spy agencies. Even though the fine points of destruction are not as yet officially disseminated, early reports indicate a number of terrorist camps were laid waste and hundreds of militants had been eliminated.

Government representatives said India would not accept terrorism and will take firm action to safeguard its citizens. The operation, coded as 'Sindoor' to symbolize India's might and sacrifice, was initiated after intelligence inputs verified cross-border group involvement in recent violence in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Indian military continues to be on high alert, and further action can be expected depending on the situation on the ground. In the meantime, Pakistan has not made any official reaction to the operation, but the situation along the Line of Control will be tense.

This operation clearly conveys the message that India will go beyond mere words in ensuring the security of the nation.
