Russia-made RPG launcher used in Mohali grenade attack recovered

As per the sources, the launcher was found barely a kilometre away from the headquarters in a secluded place in a dump

Police are rigorously Investigating the grenade attack on Punjab Police Intelligence Wing headquarters and have recovered Russia-made RPG launcher used in the attack from near the building.



As per the sources, the launcher was found barely a kilometre away from the headquarters in a secluded place in a dump.



The police also stated that several suspects have been nabbed and are being questioned. 



On Monday, a RPG was fired near intelligence headquarters in Mohali's Sector 77 at 7.45 pm. Sound of attack was heard in Punjab after the attack.



Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also held a meeting with top officials of the intelligence wing on Tuesday and stressed the he state police chief to investigate the attack at high momentum.



Earlier, the CM had also assured that the culprits behind the attack won’t be spared.



"Punjab Police is investigating the blast in Mohali. Anyone who tried to spoil the atmosphere of Punjab will not be spared," Mr Mann said.
