Sanskrit Language growing in popularity across world

Sanskrit is language of heritage. It is a classic language. The popularity of Sanskrit as great language is growing. The Sanskrit language reflects the ethos of India. 

The literary circles respect for the Sanskrit language is ever growing . The matter of pride for entire country is that Sanskrit is experiencing a rise in popularity in Western countries, particularly for academic and religious studies. 

In every state of country the popularity of Sanskrit is growing. 

In recent times , 

Sanskrit is witnessing a surge in popularity as a spoken language in Uttar Pradesh, with over 1.21 lakh individuals registering to learn the language under the state-run Missed Call Yojana. More than 53,000 participants have received direct training in spoken Sanskrit, as per data shared by the Uttar Pradesh Sanskrit Sansthan.

Sanskrit is also highly valued in Nepal too .

In 2024, President Ramchandra Paudel has said the popularity of Sanskrit language has been increasing throughout the world and not only in Nepal.     

Pertinent to mention, the head of State said this while addressing the prize distribution programme the Jayatu Sanskritam, an organisation for the promotion of Sanskrit, organized at Sheetal Niwas, the President House.

It is a proud facet that Sanskrit boasts a vast body of ancient literature, including the Vedas, Upanishads, and the epics like the Ramayana and Mahabharata. 

We all Indians should love and respect Sanskrit as it represents us as great civilization.
