The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the results of the 2025 Class 12 board exams. This year, the overall pass rate is 88.39 percent, which is slightly higher than last year. After the results were announced, it was seen that the students have done slightly better than the previous year and overall the results are satisfactory.
It is particularly noteworthy that this year the success of girls is higher than that of boys. The pass rate of girls is 91.64 percent, while that of boys is 85.44 percent. This means that girls have done 6.20 percent better than boys.
Also commendable is that transgender candidates have achieved 100 percent success, which is a positive message to the society.
A total of 16.38 lakh students participated in this exam across the country. Out of them, about 14.48 lakh candidates have succeeded. Vijayawada region topped the list with the highest pass percentage of 99.60 per cent. Thiruvananthapuram and Chennai regions followed with 99.32 per cent and 99.39 per cent respectively.
Students can view and download their results from platforms like cbseresults.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and DigiLocker.
The results will play a crucial role in the admission of students to higher education and will help them in charting their future path. The CBSE authorities congratulated all the students for their hard work and wished them success in the future.
