Bollywood superstar's team reveals the real reason behind viral video that sparked widespread speculation.

Mumbai - A video showing a bus full of police officers leaving Aamir Khan's Bandra residence on Sunday created quite a stir on social media, with fans and netizens speculating everything from a potential raid to legal troubles for the beloved actor. However, the truth behind the dramatic visuals is far more heartwarming than anyone imagined.

The 60-year-old actor's team has now stepped forward to set the record straight. "The IPS trainees of the current batch had requested a meeting with him, and Aamir Khan hosted them at his residence," a spokesperson from Khan's team told media outlets, putting all rumours to rest.

According to officials, approximately 25 probationary IPS officers had made a courtesy visit to meet the actor. The meeting was entirely pre-planned, with no enforcement or investigative implications whatsoever. The dramatic exit of police vehicles that triggered online speculation was simply the conclusion of what appears to be a regular occurrence for the Bollywood star.

This gesture isn't new for Aamir Khan. The practice stems from his iconic 1999 film "Sarfarosh," where he portrayed ACP Ajay Singh Rathod, an upright and idealistic police officer on a mission to combat cross-border terrorism. The role left such a lasting impression that it continues to inspire new generations of police trainees even 26 years later.

"After his film Sarfarosh, lots of IPS trainees want to meet Aamir," revealed a team member. The actor has been regularly hosting similar meetings over the years, sharing insights about his character and offering encouragement to young officers entering the force.

These interactions have evolved into something of a tradition, with Khan welcoming different batches of trainees and engaging in meaningful conversations about patriotism, public service, and nation-building.

The warm gesture comes at a time when Aamir Khan is experiencing a significant career resurgence. His latest release, "Sitaare Zameen Par," directed by R.S. Prasanna, has been a massive success, earning ₹165 crore net at the Indian box office in its first month. The film, which also stars Genelia D'Souza, serves as a spiritual sequel to his critically acclaimed 2007 movie "Taare Zameen Par."

Looking ahead, Khan has several exciting projects in the pipeline. He will appear alongside Rajinikanth in the highly anticipated Tamil action thriller "Coolie," directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film, set to release on August 14, also features Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, and Satyaraj in pivotal roles.

Additionally, Khan is set to attend the 2025 Indian Film Festival of Melbourne as Chief Guest from August 14-24, where a special retrospective will celebrate his remarkable journey in Indian cinema.

The recent IPS officers' visit perfectly encapsulates Aamir Khan's enduring influence beyond entertainment - a reminder that sometimes the most impactful roles are those that inspire real people in their real lives, long after the cameras stop rolling.
