Aamir Khan shares post, praising bravery of armed forces

After Operation Sindoor was successfully completed, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Armed Forces. The gesture was made soon after PM Modi made his first speech to the country about the military operation.Aamir Khan expressed his gratitude on Monday in an Instagram post that was uploaded through Aamir Khan Productions' official account. He complimented PM Modi for his leadership and praised the Indian Armed Forces' valour and commitment in his address.


For background, the Indian Armed Forces initiated Operation Sindoor on May 7, 2025, in response to the Pahalgam terror incident on April 22, which killed 26 innocent citizens. Nine terrorist hideouts within Pakistan were destroyed by Indian forces as part of the operation. The public and representatives of the film business expressed their solidarity on social media, and the mission was widely supported.



An emotional message that said, "Saluting the heroes of Operation Sindoor," was included in the Aamir Khan Productions Instagram post. Sincere appreciation to our military forces for their valour, bravery, and steadfast dedication to national security. We appreciate the Prime Minister's leadership and determination. "Jai Hind," followed by an emoji of folded hands.Aamir Khan had previously denounced the Pahalgam terror attack in an interview, saying, "We need justice and assurance that it won't happen again." We have faith that our government will act against the perpetrator and hold them accountable.


Regarding his career, Aamir Khan most recently starred alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan in the comedy-drama Laal Singh Chaddha. In the sports drama Sitaare Zameen Par, which stars Tiger Shroff, Darsheel Safary, Rahul Kohli, and Genelia Deshmukh, he will make his big-screen comeback. On June 20, 2025, the movie is expected to be released in theatres.
