Vindu Dara Singh posted his sincere condolences on his official X account. "Rest in peace, my brother #MukulDev!" he added in the tweet. Our time together will always be treasured, and #SonOfSardaar2 will be your farewell performance, bringing joy and happiness to the audience and making them laugh uncontrollably."

Manoj Bajpayee, who starred in Family Man, also posted a tweet in which he said, "It's hard to describe how I feel. Mukul was an artist with unrivaled warmth and passion, and he was a brother in spirit. Too young, too quickly gone. His family and everyone else experiencing this tragedy are being prayed for courage and recovery. I miss you, Meri Jaan. Om Shanti, until we cross paths again."

Actress Deepshikha Nagpal also used social media to confirm actor Mukul Dev's passing. On her Instagram story, she posted a photo of herself with Mukul and captioned it, "I can't believe this muks," adding a GIF of her passing. It should be mentioned that neither the cause of death nor the family's official statement has been made public yet.

'Dastak', released in 1996, was Mukul's first film in the Hindi cinema industry, for those who are unaware. wherein he portrayed the antagonist and received accolades from the reviewers for his portrayal.
