‘Housefull 5’ Teaser: A package of fun, mystery and extravagance

The craziest journey of the year is about to begin with ‘Housefull 5’. The newly released teaser promises – this time there is five times more laughter, chaos and joy! This is the first time in the history of the Indian comedy franchise that any series has reached the fifth chapter. And that pioneer is Housefull.

Although the teaser is a little over a minute long, it introduces the audience to its huge and star-studded cast in this time. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the central pillar of this film is the old and beloved faces of the franchise – Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Chunky Pandey. Those who have been with this series since the beginning, their presence should give them extra confidence.

But it doesn’t end here. Previous stars like Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Jackie Shroff, Ranjit and Nargis Fakhri are back. They are joined by an impressive list of new stars—Sanjay Dutt, Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dhir and Akashdeep Sabir.

The teaser begins on a luxury cruise ship, where all the characters make stylish entries in slow motion, accompanied by loud high-beat music. Just when everything seems to be just for fun in the hilarious atmosphere, the story takes a mysterious turn—a murder occurs. And the murderer will be found in this housefull crowd.

The teaser makes it clear towards the end that this is not just another comedy, but a “killer comedy”. With dazzling locations on one side, strange characters and mysterious alleys on the other - all in all, Housefull 5 will not disappoint its viewers this time around.
