Kangana Ranaut to debut in Hollywood with horror drama 'Blessed Be the Evil'

Actress Kangana Ranaut of Bollywood will enter the international market with her debut in Hollywood with the horror drama Blessed Be the Evil. The movie is directed by Anurag Rudra and is in the pre-production phase. It will begin shoot in New York on October 7, 2025.

Blessed Be the Evil is the frightening story of a Christian couple who move to a rural farm, only to be terrorized by an evil and supernatural witch who will stop at nothing to drive them away. The film promises a chilling mix of supernatural horror and psychological suspense, against a haunting rural backdrop.

While the entire list of cast is yet to be announced officially, there are speculations that Kangana will have a prominent part in the film, her debut as the leading lady in a Hollywood film. This comes after a decade of triumph in Indian cinema, standout performances in Queen, Tanu Weds Manu, and Thalaivii.

Sean Albertson is the producer of the horror drama and will be having Wade Muller handle the cinematography. Director Anurag Rudra and Gatha Tiwary co-author the script.
