Little Thomas has been chosen as the closing feature of the New York Indian Film Festival (NYIFF) 2025, one of the most prestigious Indian film festivals outside India. The festival will be held in New York City and will showcase a diverse collection of Indian films, such as dramas, documentaries, and short films.

Directed by National Award-winning director Kaushal Oza, Little Thomas is a poignant and emotional tale based in Goa. The movie is about a young boy and his relationship with his elderly grandfather. It delves into subjects such as family, memory, and love generation after generation. The movie has already received encouraging reviews at other film festivals and is now receiving international attention.

The news was confirmed by the festival organizers, who stated they were honored to screen Little Thomas as the last movie. "It's a sentimental movie that will leave the viewers with an impact," stated one of the directors of the festival.

The New York Indian Film Festival is renowned for promoting Indian films and providing a platform to fresh and veteran filmmakers alike. Annually, it unites Indian stories and talent with audiences in the U.S. and internationally. This year's festival too will feature panel discussions, Q&A sessions with the filmmakers, and special screenings of vintage Indian films.

Viewers are eager for Little Thomas as the ideal close to a week of intense and impactful movies.
