Olly Murs cancels his Glasgow performance during the stage walk-off

Olly Murs prematurely ended his concert at Glasgow's Ovo Hydro on Thursday night, just six songs into his set, due to vocal struggles. The 40-year-old singer apologized to the 14,000-capacity crowd, explaining in an emotional Instagram video that despite feeling slightly run down, he believed his voice was fine when he started the show. However, it quickly deteriorated, making it impossible to continue.

Murs expressed deep regret, stating it was unfair for fans to pay for a show where he couldn't perform at his best. He emphasized that in 15 years of performing, this was his first time walking off stage mid-concert. He was scheduled to see a doctor before his upcoming arena gigs in Manchester, Birmingham, and London this weekend, hoping to recover and provide updates to his fans. Murs, who gained fame on the X Factor and is known for hits like "Troublemaker" and "Danceā€ with Me Tonight," highlighted the importance of delivering a quality performance to his audience.
