Rajasthan's big move in the blackbuck killing case, Saif-Tabbu in legal trouble again?

A new twist in Bollywood's controversial blackbuck killing case. Actor Saif Ali Khan, actress Tabu and other accused stars are going to get involved in legal complications again in the much-discussed case of 1998. The Rajasthan government has now filed a case in the High Court challenging their acquittal. As a result, the question arises, are these stars going to get into trouble again?

The incident began in October 1998, during the shooting of the film 'Hum Saath Saath Hai' in Mathania village of Jodhpur. Allegedly, at that time, Salman Khan killed a blackbuck and Saif, Tabu, Neelam and Sonali Bendre were with him. Blackbuck is sacred to Hindus and is associated with the religious beliefs of the Vishnoi community. That is why members of the Bishnoi community filed a case against Salman and his co-stars.

In 2018, the Jodhpur Sessions Court convicted Salman Khan and sentenced him to five years in prison. However, the rest of the accused were acquitted due to lack of evidence. Salman Khan was later released on bail, but the case against him is still pending.

In such a situation, the Rajasthan government filed a petition in the High Court on May 16, 2024, seeking a review of the acquittal of Saif, Tabu, Neelam and Sonali. The petition was heard by a bench of Justice Manoj Kumar Garg. The judge said that since a criminal petition by Salman is pending in the same case, the hearing of this new petition is being combined with that case. The next hearing will be on July 28.

Although Salman is not named in this petition, as he has already been convicted, his petition is pending. The government believes that if Salman is proven guilty, then the rest of the accused cannot escape responsibility.

One of the most sensational aspects of this case is that the Bishnoi gang has not yet absolved Salman Khan of his wrath. There have been many threats and attempts to attack him. His life is still in danger due to this case.

Now it remains to be seen what happens in this new hearing of the High Court. If the trial in this 26-year-old case resumes, there is a strong possibility that Saif, Tabu, Neelam and Sonali will face new legal troubles. This case is once again becoming the center of controversy and excitement for Bollywood.
