Ruchi Gujjar Turned Global Heads at the Cannes Film Festival 2025, Not Just with her stunning appearance, but with a Powerful Tribute to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Wearing a specially crafted necklace, Ruchi made a bold statement of national pride, tradition, and leadership.
“The necklace is more than jewelry—it’s a symbol of strength, vision, and India’s rise on the world stage,” Ruchi shared. “By wearing it at Cannes, I wanted to honor our Prime Minister, whose leadership has taken India to new heights.” The intricately designed piece, studded with traditional Rajasthani elements and modeled on PM Modi’s signature style, added both emotional and cultural weight to her red carpet look.
Her ensemble—an exquisite gold lehenga designed by Roopa Sharmaa—shimmered with mirror work, Gota Patti, and embroidery, capturing the essence of Jaipur’s royal artistry. The outfit, with its glowing gold fabric and detailed craftsmanship, reflected a modern interpretation of Rajasthani tradition.
To complement her lehenga, Ruchi wore a handcrafted Bandhani dupatta by Zaribari, designed by Ram, embellished with Zardozi and Gota Patti work. It was a nod to Rajasthan’s deep-rooted textile heritage and spiritual connection to Indian culture. “Wearing this dupatta felt like I was draping the soul of Rajasthan,” she said.
But it was her PM Modi-inspired necklace that truly stole the spotlight. Crafted with precision and meaning, it was both a fashion statement and a patriotic gesture. Ruchi explained, “Prime Minister Modi has redefined India’s image across the world. I wanted to carry that pride with me, and this necklace was my tribute to his leadership.”
