Sanjay Dutt is prepping for a hectic season with a long line of films across genres. His next outing, *Bhootnii*, a horror comedy, will release on May 1, 2025. Busy with promotional activities at the moment, Dutt recently spoke about his forthcoming projects *Housefull 5* and *Baaghi 4*, both of which are high-end releases.
The actor expressed his thrill of venturing into a genre he has never attempted before at the release of *Bhootnii*'s song *Aaye Re Baba* yesterday. "This horror-comedy is a totally new arena for me," said Dutt. Talking about his forthcoming releases, he added, "I'm doing *Housefull*; that's another crazy comedy, and *Baaghi* is more emotional and more action-oriented. I feel lucky that I am experimenting with so much range of characters.
The teaser of *Housefull 5* released earlier today, teasing another zany adventure in the popular franchise. The star-studded cast comprises Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Dino Morea, Jackie Shroff, Sonam Bajwa, and now Sanjay Dutt as a fresh addition. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film is based on a murder mystery that takes place on a cruise ship and will release on June 6, 2025.
Sanjay Dutt's latest offerings include *Ghudchadi*, where he teamed up again with Raveena Tandon, and *Double Ismart*, in which he made his Telugu movie debut in 2024. In 2023, he was the principal villain in *Leo* as well as played a cameo in *Jawan*.
Given such a heavy schedule, Dutt keeps revealing his versatility as he is no less pertinent and dynamic today as Indian cinema becomes increasingly global in its approach and appeal.
