Bigg Boss 13 star receiving treatment for low blood pressure; fellow actor visits and requests prayers from fans
Popular actress Shehnaaz Gill was hospitalized on Monday following a sudden health scare, with reports suggesting she was admitted due to low blood pressure issues. The former Bigg Boss 13 contestant is currently receiving medical care and is reportedly on a glucose drip to aid her recovery.
Actor Karan Veer Mehra, winner of Bigg Boss 18, visited Gill at the hospital and shared an encouraging update with fans through his Instagram Stories. In the video, Mehra can be seen speaking from Gill's hospital room, where she appears in good spirits despite her condition.
"I need you guys to pray really hard that this girl with full energy should get back as soon as possible," Mehra said in the clip, panning the camera toward Gill, who was lying on the hospital bed with an IV drip attached to her hand.
The video shows Gill trying to hide her face from the camera while laughing, displaying her characteristic cheerful demeanor even during her recovery period. "Hasa rha hai mujhe (He's making me laugh)," she joked in response to Mehra's gentle teasing about her condition.
Despite being visibly unwell with her hand wrapped in bandages, Gill maintained her positive attitude and assured Mehra that she would recover quickly. She even mentioned looking forward to partying with him once she's discharged from the hospital.
While the exact cause of her hospitalization has not been officially confirmed, multiple reports indicate that Gill was admitted after experiencing episodes of low blood pressure. Medical sources suggest she is responding well to treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.
The news of Gill's hospitalization has prompted an outpouring of support from fans and industry colleagues across social media platforms. Many have thanked Mehra for being present during her difficult time and for providing updates to concerned fans.

Gill rose to fame during her memorable stint on Bigg Boss 13, where she became a household name with her vibrant personality and close friendship with the late actor Sidharth Shukla. She subsequently transitioned to Bollywood, making her debut in "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan" alongside Salman Khan in 2023.
Her recent projects include "Thank You For Coming," which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, and a music video appearance in "Sajna Ve Sajna" from the film "Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video."
