Shraddha Kapoor has walked out of Ekta's thriller, but why?

Shraddha Kapoor is currently one of the top actresses in Bollywood. Her looks, acting and glamour have made several films a success at the box office. From 'Aashiqui 2' to 'Stree' or 'Chhichhore', Shraddha's screen presence has always fascinated the audience. So when it was heard that she will play the lead role in Ekta Kapoor's upcoming thriller, there was renewed excitement among the fans. However, that joy did not last long. Recently, several reports have come out that Shraddha Kapoor will not be in Ekta's film anymore.

A report by PeepingMoon claims that Shraddha has already walked out of this thriller project. And behind this decision, there are complications related to the huge amount of remuneration. It is heard that Shraddha had demanded a remuneration of 17 crores for this film, which is much more than the budget of the original film. Not only that, she also wanted a share of the film's profits.  That is, the actress has stipulated that a part of the profits will go to her depending on the success of the film. Although this agreement is largely in accordance with Hollywood tradition, this trend is not yet regular in Bollywood. As a result, Ekta Kapoor was not able to bear this financial burden. In the end, it is said that the heroine herself walked out of the project.

Although there has been no official statement from Ekta Kapoor or Shraddha Kapoor so far. Therefore, the matter is not completely certain. However, industry sources say that Shraddha's name is no longer being heard about Ekta's new film. Ekta has always been bold in terms of production, and her interest in new thriller genre films is clear. But the reality of the budget may have stopped her from working with Shraddha.

However, there is no reason to think that walking out of this one film will affect Shraddha's career. Because she has her much-awaited film 'Stree 3' ahead.  She will be seen in this sequel alongside actors like Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee. It will release on August 13, 2027. After the incredible success of 'Stree' and 'Stree 2', the expectations of the audience are high around this third installment. Earlier too, Shraddha had brought a mysteriousness and appeal to her character, which gave extra momentum to the story.

Shraddha Kapoor's impression of luxury is clear not only on screen but also in real life. She has recently rented a palatial apartment in Mumbai's Juhu area. Shraddha has to pay Rs 6 lakh per month for this huge 3,928 square feet flat. Not only that, she also had to pay an advance of Rs 72 lakh for the flat rent. Along with this, there was a stamp duty of Rs 35,000 and a registration fee of Rs 1 lakh. In addition, Shraddha got 4 private garages with this apartment - which is, in a word, a symbol of an elite lifestyle.

 It is clear from all this that Shraddha Kapoor is not only conscious about her work but also about her personal life. Be it a luxurious flat or a big budget film, she knows how to set her own price in every case. Currently, she has reached a stage in her career where it is reasonable to bargain for her remuneration. In the crowd of male stars in Bollywood who are paid Rs. 25 crores each, Shraddha's demand of Rs. 17 crores as a successful actress is not at all unusual.

Now it remains to be seen who Ekta Kapoor chooses as the new face for her thriller film and what other projects Shraddha joins herself in later. However, even if she moves away from this one film, there will be no disruption in Shraddha Kapoor's Bollywood career - it goes without saying. On the contrary, she will appear with more expectations in her next works, such is the hope of the fans.
