Suniel Shetty not in 'Border 2', actor gives emotional reaction

'Border' is one of the names in the list of patriotic films in Bollywood. There is already a lot of excitement surrounding the announcement of the sequel of this film 'Border 2'. However, the disappointing news is that Suniel Shetty, one of the main faces of the first installment, will not be seen in this film. Sunil himself has opened up about this.

In a recent interview given to India Today, Suniel said, 'Yes, it feels a little bad. But at the same time, there is a satisfaction.' Why satisfaction? Explaining, the actor said, 'My son Ahan is acting in this film. If Bhairon Singh is not there, at least Ahan is there.' This comment reveals the pride, love and emotion of a father.

Regarding the new actors in the film, Suniel said, 'All those whom I like are part of this film. My chemistry with Sunny (Deol) has always been great. This time, I can see the same sincerity between Varun and Ahan.' The actor's comment about Varun Dhawan, 'Varun is like Ahan's elder brother, he takes care of him a lot. Ahan often says, 'Baba Varun is a great person.'

Suniel also said, 'We are all busy in our own lives. But when we do a film together, the experience is different.' According to him, the pair of Varun and Ahan will create a magical chemistry on the silver screen.

There is a touch of emotion from son Ahan too. About acting in Border 2, Ahan said, 'Border is much bigger than cinema for me. It has a tradition, a history. For me, it is a dream come true. When the first Border was being shot, my mother was pregnant. I went to the set from my mother's womb.'

He also said, 'Whatever I am today, it is because of my father. I will do my best to maintain and respect the tradition he created.’

Suniel Shetty will next be seen in ‘Kesari Veer’, where he stars alongside Sooraj Pancholi, Vivek Oberoi and Akanksha Sharma. While the son is acting in a new generation patriotic film, the father himself is busy with new projects – this duo is something that movie lovers are eagerly waiting to see.
