Award-winning Media Guru and Educator,  author of recent book Empowerment through entrepreneurship focusing on Women entrepreneurship field ,Dr. Vijayta Taneja is an Mind of par excellence. 

In an exclusive interview with the Jazzbaat24, she talks to Rameez Makhdoomi. 

What is focus of your book?

The focus of my book is on women entrepreneurs, how they are not just earning for themselves but empowering their families and societies. It lays thrust on also how we can empower women.

How much is financial independence must for women ?

It is pivotal need for women to be financially independent. Even if a women earns 10k to 1 lac a month it empowers her in great way, she should be giver not taker. Today we are seeing in Entrepreneurship TV programmes like Shark Tank how iconic women entrepreneurs like Namita Thapar and Vineeta are emerging as dynamic example. By thus book people will know about women entrepreneurs success  .

My book lays thrust on three main things.  Firstly,  what are trends in women entrepreneurship  secondly what are the problems and challenges faced by women entrepreneurs and thirdly what are the Government schemes related to encouraging of women entrepreneurs. 

Tell us a bit about your academic journey ?

I had started teaching Journalism and Mass Communication in a local college and now teaching at Greater Noida in a college as Associate Professor and Department Coordinator as well.  My journey has been fascinating with brilliant students who are my products.

Your message to women those who want to write?

I want to tell women that they should shed fear and start writing. When a human starts from scratch he or she can rise to bigger things  in life . 

Are you seeing growth of women entrepreneurship in India?

Definitely, women entrepreneurship in India is on rise. The landscape of India is seeing rise of women  entrepreneurs in all spheres of life.

There are challenges and problems that books like mine are trying to focus and resolve them. It also lays thrust on how women entrepreneurs can Kickstart their journey.

Your message ?

My message to readers is not let the flame of wave of women entrepreneurs die and give it new energy.
