Hailing from the quaint village of Nandiagada in Ganjam, Dr. Dalai pursued his education at Kabisurjya Baladev Vigyan Mahavidyalaya, followed by an MA in English from Berhampur University, and a PhD in Language and Literature. He earned his D.Litt from Colombian Poetic House, South America.
