Actor and comedian Kapil Sharma is back to playing his part in the sequel of his debut film, 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon,' which was released in 2015.
The original movie, directed by Abbas-Mustan, featured Sharma in a humorous and disorganized scenario as he juggled multiple relationships.
In the sequel, there's a fresh turn that promises even more humor and a new direction under the guidance of Anukalp Goswami.
On Monday, on the day of Eid celebration, Kapil unveiled the first poster of 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2.' In the poster, he appears at the altar once again, dressed in a white sherwani.
In the photograph, he is removing his sehra (headgear) and gazing in the direction of the camera in a bewildered and surprised way.
Standing next to him is his 'bride,' whose face is covered partially by a transparent veil and floral headpiece, and is dressed in blue lehenga.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted the first look of the film, terming it as surprise gift from Kapil Sharma during Eid.
He wrote, "KAPIL SHARMA – VENUS – ABBAS-MUSTAN REUNITE: 'KIS KISKO PYAAR KAROON 2' FIRST LOOK UNVEILS… The first look of the comedy film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 is finally out, starring Kapil Sharma and Manjot Singh, directed by Anukalp Goswami, and produced by Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, and Abbas-Mustan."
Though Abbas-Mustan, who directed the original film, won't be directing the sequel, they will still be a part of it as co-producers.
Anukalp Goswami, a writer of the original film and Kapil's popular TV show 'The Kapil Sharma Show,' will be the new director.
Manjot Singh, who has appeared in 'Fukrey,' will also join the cast.
The first film, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, traced the story of Kapil's character, Shiv Ram Kishan, who had three women married to him without them being aware, while keeping his girlfriend in the loop. The original film also starred Eli Avram as Kapil's girlfriend and had Manjari Fadnis and Simran Kaur Mundi.
