Air India will start daily flights from Prayagraj to Delhi from next week till end of next month. Prayagraj has been witnessing Mahakumbh since yesterday (Monday).
To cater to the high travel demand Air India will operate this route from 25 Jan to 28 Feb 2025. With these flights Air India will be the only full service flying option between the two cities and customers will have the option of premium cabins in addition to Economy Class, as per a statement released by the airline on Tuesday evening.
January: The flight will depart from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport at 2.10 pm and will reach Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad) at 3.20 pm. The return flight will depart at 4 pm and will reach Delhi at 5.10 pm.
February: The timings will be slightly changed, the flight will depart at 1 pm and will reach at 2.10 pm and the return flight will depart at 2.50 pm and will reach at 4 pm.
As per the airline, these timings will provide seamless connectivity to those travelling from other parts of the country as well as from North America, Europe, Australia and several countries in Southeast Asia.
The bookings for this temporary flight are being progressively opened through its website, app and travel agents, the airline said.
