YouTube taught him to commit a crime!Student robbed a bank to clear arears in gaming

In Madhya Pradesh, a shocking incident unfolded when a college-going youth attempted to rob a bank by doing tricks learned from YouTube tutorials considering the growing pressure of his online gaming debts. The 21-year-old figured it was time to be dramatic and try illegal remedies to free himself from financial duress.

He entered a nationalized bank in Indore with a toy gun and tried to intimidate the employees into robbing cash from their bank. However, his nervousness and the amateurish style in which he executed the act raised the alarm. In no time, one of the staff quietly called the police, who reached the spot and arrested him.

After interrogating him, police sources claim that he confessed to committing the crime and learning it from videos online. Investigation revealed that he came to loan money from friends and digital loan apps because of his online gaming addiction - pushing him into the big debt trap.

Such incidents raise serious questions on the count of digital influence and how viral has become rampant among youth concerning online gaming addiction. It should also be noted that even though YouTube provides tons of educational valuable stuff, its inappropriate use for illegitimate work calls for strict monitoring of the contents.

Those signs of gaming addiction and financial distress must be noted by parents and tutors in young people, as the condition of mental health awareness and responsible digital consumption will build change in society, say authorities.
