Sonamarg, June 16: Jammu and Kashmir Health Minister Sakina Masood on Monday assured that adequate health arrangements will be put in place to ensure the well-being of pilgrims during the upcoming Amarnath Yatra, set to begin on July 3.
The Health Minister, accompanied by MLA Kangan Mian Mehar Ali and senior health officials, visited Sonamarg to review the preparedness of medical facilities along the yatra route.
Speaking to media persons during the visit, Sakina Masood emphasized the government’s commitment to providing proper healthcare services and ensuring the smooth and safe conduct of the pilgrimage. She said all necessary steps are being taken to equip health camps and emergency response units along the route to handle any medical emergencies.
