As part of its ongoing drive against drug trafficking, Anantnag Police apprehended one drug peddler and recovered narcotic substance from his possesion.
Police party from Police Station Achabal laid a Naka at Sharief Din Mohalla near Police Station Achabal. During naka checking police party intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK03F-5011 during search of the truck police party recovered about 08 Grams of Brown Sugar. Driver of the truck namely Bilal Ahmad Mir S/O Ab Rashid Mir R/O Rain Arther larnoo was arrested. Contraband as well as Truck was seized.
Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Achabal.
