Body of Youth Recovered from Nallah in Kulgam

Kulgam, May 04: In a tragic incident, the body of a 23-year-old youth was recovered from Nallah Adbal in the Wattoo Aharbal area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday.

Officials identified the deceased as Imtiyaz Ahmad Magray, son of Nazir Ahmad Magray, a resident of Tangmarg. He was reportedly working in the area as a labourer.

According to locals, the body was spotted in the stream and subsequently retrieved. The police were immediately informed and a team reached the location to take the body into custody for medico-legal formalities.

Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances leading to the incident.
